Tenth Annual Wine Dinner Series at Westin Grand Cayman’s Casa Havana, November 6
The Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa on Grand Cayman Island is hosting one of its wine dinner series on Friday, November 6 at the resort’s Casa Havana restaurant. Guests who plan to attend can stay at the resort that night for just $199.
The rest of the dinners in the upcoming series take place on January 29, March 12, April 16, May 14 and June 11, during which the special rate for dinner-goers will be $299, with no minimum night stays. The only caveat is that guests much purchase seats for the wine dinner before booking the room reservation by calling the hotel directly at (345) 945-3800.

“Savor the Borgata,” Saturday, November 7
Last week, we told you about some incredible dining deals happening this fall at three of the restaurant at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, but in the granddaddy of all dining events—one that’s sure even to get a few rage-filled housewives out of their imitation Versailles villas—is going down on Saturday, November 7.
“Savor the Borgata” is an annual event that gives guests the chance to enjoy food at the resort’s restaurants actually prepared by the rarely in-residence chefs themselves. Who, you might ask, will be attending? Here’s the diet-busting list: Wolfgang Puck (Wolfgang Puck American Grille), Bobby Flay (Bobby Flay Steak), Michael Mina (SeaBlue), Michael Schulson (Izakaya), Stephen Kalt (Fornelletto Cucina and Wine Bar), Geoffrey Zakarian (The Water Club at Borgata), Romeo DiBona (Old Homestead Steakhouse), Ron Ross (Borgata Executive Chef), and Thaddeus DuBois (Borgata Executive Pastry Chef).
The evening begins at 7:00pm that evening at the Water Club, and tickets, which are on sale now, cost $125 per person. Order them here or by calling (866) 900-4849. The one drawback? Rates for that one night at the resort start at a whopping $329, more than double the starting rates for the rest of the month!
