Marriott Hotels are really taking a liking to this Twitter game. This morning we told you that Paradise By Marriott was offering travel treats through Twitter all month long but if you aren't keen on a Mexican or Caribbean getaway, there's still another option.

To reap the benefits of Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort & Spa Twitter-only promo, you'll need to make sure you're following @DesertSprings and have some knowledge of the hotel, or at least have perfected the art of rapid Googling.

Starting today and running through the month of October, @DesertSprings followers should keep an eye on the resort's updates. They'll be tweeting questions on weekdays, the topics ranging from the ingredients found in their Angel Kiss cocktail to the number of rooms at the hotel. Sharpen those eyes and scour the official website—www.desertspringsresort.com—to find the answers and tweet them in the following format: @DesertSprings [your answer] #tweettoretreat.

Those who answer correctly will be thrown into a lottery drawing for the Grand Prize: a three-night stay at Desert Springs, dinner at on-site Ristorante Tuscany and Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, daily breakfast at their LakeView restaurant, four 60-minute spa treatments, a VIP table at the Costas nightclub, and your choice of tennis or golf lessons for two.

Other run-of-the-mill follower benefits include being privy to promo codes, upcoming events, and and like. Also, children of the '90s who have seen photos of the Marriott Desert Springs, it's true: This is the resort used in an episode of Saved by the Bell.

So flex those fingertips and get your hash tags (#) and at symbols (@) ready. It's time to put your follower list to good use, and we don't mean by engaging in a virtual conversation with @aplusk, who probably won't respond, anyway.

    clever

This is a great strategy used by Marriott. Twitter is indeed a great source for costumers and future clients.
