Change We Can Believe In: $44 Off Chicago Kimpton Hotels

January 8, 2009 at 10:37 AM | by Jenna | 0 Comments

Barack Obama hasn't taken office just yet, but we can already thank him for some changes that we hotel geeks can believe in: killer deals at Kimpton properties in Chicago in honor of the native-Chicagoian soon-to-be leader of our great nation.

If you're not going to go all out and totally splurge on an Obama-themed indulgence package at the Hard Rock Chicago or the Four Seasons Chicago, check out this slightly more economical option.

During Obama's first 90 days in office (which includes Presidents' Day! Celebrate it!), Chicago Kimpton properties — Hotel Allegro, Hotel Burnham and Hotel Monaco Chicago — are offering a Presidential Preference Rate. In honor of the 44th president, you can take $44 off until April 20th, 2009. Use code "P44" to redeem.

If you're interested in Chicago-style indulgence (not in the form of a deep dish pizza or a hot dog), try out the Obama-rama Package, starting at $379. You'll get accommodations in a suite, a tour for two of Chicago, two "Obama-rama specialty cocktails" in any of Kimpton's restaurants or bars, some Planter's Trail Mix (his fave snack), and VIP reservations at Spiagga, one of Obama's favorite Chicago restaurants.

This bundle of goodies is also valid through Obama's first 90 days in office — til April 20th — and you've gotta lock down your reservation at least five days prior to arrival using code "POBM."

Make reservations here. Skipping out on all the inauguration hoopla and heading toward the great midwest sure is sounding better and better to us.
