Kick It Poolside During The Oscars At Viceroy Santa Monica
Get out your calendar. It's going to be February in a hot minute. And you already know that February is full of important dates and celebrations that you need to start planning out: the Super Bowl is on Sunday. There are viewing parties to go to, and there are "celeb"-studded hotel parties you need to hit up. But let us not forget that right around the corner from the Super Bowl is Valentine's Day — and you're going to need to start either making plans with your honey or making plans with your liver.

The Oscars are airing on February 22nd. Viceroy Santa Monica is urging you to plan ahead (and so are we) and they're already getting the word out about their Oscar Viewing Party, which is apparently going to be a big to-do for West Coasters (or those who may be West Coast-bound). The viewing party is going to be poolside, and you can bet the scene will be as ritzy as the awards show itself (well, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration since there is a pool involved here).
You can book an Oscar-Viewing Cabana Package for yourself and your posse (up to 20) starting at $1,500 and do the whole night up right. Oscar-themed appetizers and drinks will be served to all of you: think Benjamin Butt-ini Youth Elixirs (haha, Butt-ini), Slumdog Millionaire Fried Samosas, Chocolate Milk-tinis, etc.
The package also gets you two bottles of Veuve Clicquot, an "arrival" Polaroid shot of you and your guests, and a chance to win DVD's of all the Best Picture nominees (as long as you guess the winner every major category correctly — which, like, who can do that?)
