There's tons of hotel news flying around this week and we don't have time to give each and every story the love and attention it may deserve, so you will have to settle for some news briefs.

· The Greenwich Hotel's "Ago" Is So 8 Months Ago: The Greenwich Hotel's restaurant Ago, which has received some pretty bad reviews since its opening, has hired chef Andrew Carmellini, formerly of A Voce, to take over the kitchen and re-open the restaurant as an as-yet unnamed Italian concept. [NY Times]

· Two Guys and a Hotel Room: A photographer and his partner photographed themselves in hotel rooms around the world. This one is officially our fave. We just wish they include the hotel names! [Renaldi]

· Starwood Posts Huge Losses: Scary news for Starwood Hotels. Its 4th quarter profit tumbled more than 46 percent due to the growing number of cash-strapped folks out there today. [Bloomberg News]

· Alsace Hotel?: The famous French wine region may get a funky new hotel from architect Steven Holl. [Architect's Newspaper]

· Hilton Luxor Gets New Look Too: Looks like the Luxor in Las Vegas isn't the only one with a new face. The Hilton in Luxor, Egypt recently completed a $45 million makeover. [Trade Arabia]
