Dita is back! In Paris, we mean, as she is set to return to the famed Crazy Horse cabaret for a series of scintillating performances in February. The first guest star to perform at the Crazy Horse, Dita von Teese holds legend status in both the performance and fashion worlds, and looks to equally legendary hotels when she travels. Her Paris choice is reputedly always the Hotel Lutetia, the first art deco hotel to be built in Paris and a favorite of another cabaret icon, Josephine Baker.

Snuggled in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood of Paris, the Lutetia boasts period furniture, a lively lounge scene and wafting jazz, altogether making it the perfect setting for a little luxuriating. Not that Dita would walk, but the hotel is just a quick stroll to the banks of the Seine and a major vein of artist studios and fashion boutiques; you can almost hear the Christian Louboutins clicking on the cobblestones.

Although many would have expected Dita to choose the Hotel de Crillon, George V or Plaza Athénée, she's instead truly keeping it real with the Lutetia. This is good news for anyone headed to Paris for her Crazy Horse show who also wants to have the complete vintage experience; the Lutetia is showing rooms for this period starting from only 178 Euro. You may not have the top couturiers banging on your door, but at least you've got a damn classy place to sleep.
