Room rates are so low in Las Vegas during the week that you can actually get a one-bedroom penthouse suite at The Mirage for just $210 a night next week. You must be thinking, "What's the Catch?" The only problem that we're seeing, aside from visiting Vegas on a weekday, is that the room has not undergone any recent renovations. Those gussied up standard rooms are available for just $79 a night if you prefer newness and bargains instead of enough room to have a party with some of your closest friends or you know, the random people you pick up in Sin City.

The penthouse suite has a lot of pluses. First, it comes with floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Las Vegas. It also has a delightfully tacky canopied king-size bed, a bathroom with double-sink vanities, whirlpool jet bathtub, glass-enclosed shower,and complimentary Mirage robes and slippers. The dining room and living room areas feature a large TV, dining table for four and a marble wet bar with refrigerator. Total square footage? 1,251 square feet.

The suite also comes with Royal Service which includes fresh flowers, Invited Guest check-in and daily newspaper delivery, priority seating for LOVE, Terry Fator, and other shows, and priority seating in the Mirage restaurants. All in, with tax, the total for the night is $228.90. Truly, you can now act all VIP for practically nothing.

Also available next week, a two bedroom Tower suite for $280 a night and a two-bedroom Penthouse suite for $360 a night.
