The Nines Hotel in Portland is a Luxury Collection Hotel from Starwood and we're not sure we've ever seen an LC hotel with rates this low. To celebrate the rest of 2009, the hotel is offering $99 room rates for 99 days.

The luxurious new Starwood Luxury Collection Hotel in the famed Meier & Frank building in the heart of downtown is kicking off 2009 with a rate starting at just $99 per night. Better hurry, however: this extraordinary rate, which started January 9, 2009, is only available for 99 days. Travelers must reference the “99 for 99” package when booking, and must stay before April 18, 2009.

We stayed at The Nines back in November when it first opened and loved it, particularly the 8th floor library (above.) However back then, opening rates were $249 a night. So consider this a steal.

Too bad, I found this offer a bit late. But that was a good offer. $249 per night and $99 per night, lol massive difference. But I must say, they must have created a lot of new customers by this package which is good for them summerlin real estate and their goodwill.
