Even Ritz-Carltons Are Giving Away Free Stuff These Days

If you're looking to book a super lavish getaway, now's the time (you deserve it, you hard worker, you), and Ritz-Carlton hotels are doing their best to draw you in by reconnecting you with a portion of that chunk of change you'd be dropping at one of their luxe properties.

Going on right now (end dates of the promo vary by resort), Ritz-Carlton hotels worldwide are offering Reconnect packages, which in most cases includes overnight accommodations, complimentary breakfast, and resort credits up to $200. Unfortunately, the amount of resort credit is different at every Ritz — some locations are only offering $25 while others bless you with two Benjamins worth — but fortunately for you, we do our research around here.

In the mood for a ski vacay? We're happy to report that the Resort Reconnect package at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch (near Vail, CO) will reconnect you with $200 in the form of a resort credit, but you'll be paying a whopping $724 for a room.

If you're in the mood for some touring, the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco replaces the resort credit and gives you San Fran "City Passes" with the Reconnect Package, which grants you access to seven big attractions (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise among them) starting at $469 per night.

Starting May 1st (post-Spring Break time!), you can hit up the sandy beaches of Mexico. The Ritz-Carlton Cancun's Reconnect package will give you a daily buffet breakfast for two and $100 daily resort credit, and the whole thing will start at $339 per night.

Finally, for once an NYC hotel is looking inexpensive by comparison to the rest of the hotels we've mentioned: for a touristy weekend in the Big Apple, check out the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park's Reconnect package. Starting at $305, you get a complimentary upgrade at time of booking to a Harbor View guestroom with views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor (they're stunning; we've seen 'em), two ferry tickets to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and a $50 credit towards food and beverage or spa treatment.

Valid dates, rates and goodies vary majorly by property, so make sure you check out all the fine print before you go dropping your dolla dolla bills, y'all.
