Westin: Anyone with SPG points to burn will probably get upgraded here. And it's right next to several chairlifts. But you might want to wait a little bit. The hotel is undergoing renovations for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Guests report that the older rooms are a tad unappealing. Starting Rates: $359.
Sundial: Another hotel right next to the gondola, this hotel has nabbed the #1 popular spot on TripAdvisor.Starting Rates: $339.
Pan Pacific Whistler Hotels: Pan Pacific has two resorts here--one is Mountainside and the other is Village Centre. Obviously, the Mountainside one is the closest to the gondolas and ski lifts. The Village Centre one is on the edge of the village near the road, but still extremely accessible to the slopes.Starting Rates: $272.
Adara Hotel: This boutique hotel has only 41 rooms and it's only three years old. It has a great location on the edge of Whistler Village, enabling you to be close to the action.Starting Rates: $279.
Nita Lake Lodge: This hotel is also new as it just opened last Winter. The reviews on the place are really positive with the only downside being the hotel's location Creekside and not on the Whistler side.Starting Rates: $207.
Residence Inn: The starting room categories here are studio suites which come with a full kitchen, gas fireplace and balconies. The hotel is located near the mountains but it's definitely not ski-in, ski-out.
Starting Rates: $199.
