I stayed from Jan 4-7, 2009 at the Four Queens downtown Las Vegas for $10.96 total stay. This was an Expedia travel booking and included a $50 discount coupon to bring the total stay below $11.  In addition, there was a $100 discount booklet which had 2 for 1 meals and other items.  

Four Queens has been renovated recently, or within the last several years.  They have to keep up somewhat with their neighbor, Golden Nugget.  Rooms were roomy, clean and had a plasma screen TV.
