The hotel is not only close to the powder, it's close to the shops. It's located on top of a mini-retail plaza which includes a chocolate store, ski equipment store, a coffee shop, several art galleries. It's also the pick-up point for Blackcomb Snowmobile Tours which we tried and loved.
Yet it's funny how Hilton hotels are so standardized that no matter where you are, the Hilton hotel always looks and feels like a Hilton hotel. This Hilton is no different, except for maybe its location near the slopes and the cozy fireplace in the lobby.
Guestroom categories at the Hilton Whistler range from a superior room with two queen beds to a two-bedrooom suite. Amenities include Hilton Serenity beds, Lavazza single-serve coffee makers, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries and indigenous art from the neighboring Sea-to-Sky corridor. Looks like this Hilton has some personality afterall!

More onsite amenities at the Hilton include an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a 24-hour business center, a spa and the Cinnamon Bear Grille which serves breakfast and dinner.
Of course, you pay more here for being close to the action. Rooms start around $349CAD a night.
