Marriott's Fairfield Inn Brand Gets a Fly New Look

If you walk some of Marriott's Fairfield Inn properties, you may start to notice that some of them have a fly new look. We got word from the Marriott Twitter that the brand is getting a bit of a makeover to lend a bright, contemporary look to the hotel's spaces.

The refreshed lobbies will have lots of room for seating and socializing, plus a significantly breezier, more upbeat look, with blues, greens and reds dominating the decor. The yummy-looking complimentary breakfast offerings might put Fairfield in the running for the best budget hotel breakfasts we've been discussing lately, with "delicious breakfast sandwiches and healthy items like fruit, yogurt and whole grain cereals" (anyone tried these? Let us know!)

Meanwhile, up in the guestrooms (with separate living, working and sleeping areas), a fresh take on the bedspread (or so we assume; we're not certain what that green thing is, actually) serves as the centerpiece for bedroom — though we're not so sure how we feel about that little touch yet.

In suite-style rooms, you get the added luxury of an extra flat-screen TV, a microwave and a mini-fridge help to make extended stays more comfortable.

For the full photo gallery of the new Fairfield look, head over to Marriott's Flickr Page and check out the full set.

Stylin'

Always love me some Marriott, but never so much the Fairfield brand.

Nice to see an update; let's just hope they can roll it out somewhat quickly with all the architectural elements that are present.
