Now that the Fairmont Boston Battery Wharf is finally open, the waterfront hotel is offering a nice January slump goodie package: Stay one night, get the second one free in a standard room (sorry, no fancy Fairmont Gold rooms for this deal).

That’s a pretty good deal, folks, considering rates start at $299 per night Jan. 15th through April 15th. (To save you the embarrassment of having to pull out your handy cell phone calculator, we’ll go ahead and tell you that averages to just about $150 a night.)

What makes it even more appealing? The hotel’s highly anticipated Sensing restaurant opens today. The first in the U.S. by Michelin chef Guy Martin, the restaurant will feature fresh, local ingredients (seafood, organic vegetables) cooked in a similar way to the award-winning cuisine at Martin’s Paris original.
