Serena and Blair have a chit-chat on the Hudson rooftop.

We first glimpse the lovely Hudson when Blair decides to throw a snoozefest, hoity-toity party (planned on the fly with the help of her housekeeper) on the Sky Terrace. Ah, the views! Touted as a "welcome back from the Hamptons" party for her friends, the soiree was meant to impress her new man's mama. Who happens to be a duchess. And a cougar. And kind of a bitch. (We hate on her a lil' bit extra cause she's nailing our Chace).

In true Gossip Girl fashion, nobody is ever asked for ID and the high school kids are eating and drinking and shooting dirty looks at one another with cocktails in hand.

Then things start gettin' good: after a big OMFG moment in which Serena realizes that Nate (our Chace) has been sleeping with the Duchess -- mother of Nate's ex's new boyfriend (are you with us? No?) -- she half-assedly attempts damage control, which somehow results in Dan and Serena making out by the elevator bank. Nate stumbles upon the newly-reunited couple before being summoned into the Hudson's library by the cougar-bitch Duchess.

Naturally, there is a makeout session which progresses to some rolling-around-on-the-floor -- and then, of course, in walks Blair. [Note: does this sound familiar? A sexy romp in a hotel's library? Hint: either the producers or people gossiping about Josh Hartnett seem to have made an inspired decision recently. We'll be thinking twice now before walking into any hotel libraries with our lover].

Curiously, the gang didn't bother with the uber-trendy Hudson bar. Too many brunettes in the group, perhaps? And we can't lie: when Gossip Girl, hot hotels and Chace Crawford are combined into one...well, you'll clearly be finding us still gushing about that hour of our lives the next day.
