The hotel will have around 200 guest rooms and 100 "branded residences," with a restaurant, bar and spa and access to a luxury retail plaza. Adjacent to that building will be a 44-story tower with 360 residences that feature "hotel services."
The big, showy feature? A giant cabana bar built into the pier with a dock for boats or gondolas that whisk guests away guests to a floating saltwater pool, the first of its kind in Dubai.
We can't necessarily say we're surprised that boutique chain Morgans is seizing the opportunity to go totally over-the-top in a city known for it's totally ridiculous, lavish-as-anything hotels.
