Each of the 80 guestrooms and 16 suites offer New England style with luxe amenities. The furniture is upholstered in thick fabrics of burgundy and flanks tables and armoires of tiger maple woods.
As for the beds, I haven't tried one that was more comfortable. You easily sink into pillow top mattress and find comfort in the down blankets. In addition, all rooms feature original artistic centerpieces by Nancy Freise, the Chairman of the Rhode Island School of Design Graduate School.
Marble floors and bath amenities by Molton Brown will make any hotel bathroom geek happy. For those with a little more coin to spare, the deluxe king suites feature whirlpool bathtubs and toiletries by Bulgari. Of course there's free WiFi too, but that's for use away from the bathroom. Or is it?

The hotel offers a classy experience right from the moment you drop your keys off with the valet. The lobby greets you with the feel of a museum, yet is welcoming and not stuffy, one quickly realizes that a few nights may not be enough.
Even pets are welcome, as long as they are less than 15 pounds, and the concierge will send some pet-friendly amenities to your room before your arrival.
If you're planning on doing some leaf-peeping in New England this fall, or are just visiting a friend at a nearby college, book a room here. Rates for this weekend start at $234.
