Really everyone should wait until around Oct 1, first week of Oct. This is really when the W Hotel site is taking reservations for Scottsdale. This hotel is so RUSHED!! The outside of the hotel is kinda messy. Not all the rooms are even completed and finished, but they want you to think it is open. So don't be sad when you don't get a room in Sept., they are not done anyways! It's all to build excitment for Oct anyways! LOL When you call they will say the Living Room and hotel is only open for a private event, but this is not true. You can still show up and take a peek and have a drink. To get in SHADE (pool area) @ night, you will prolly need to spend close to 400.00 to reserve a cabana, dress like a hooker, and/or try to get on the list. If you do gain access and are not a hotel guest, you can only bring a few people w/ you into the area. SHADE is managed by the same owners of Myst and AXIS/RADIUS nightclubs in Scottsdale. They will not allow just anyone to access SHADE at night. Only hotel patrons and people who reseve the cabanas can really get into SHADE area at night or if you are a female dressed like a bootleg FORD model. This hotel is very very small! But just steps from the Scottsdale nightlife, literally! The pool changes into a variety of colors at night and you can see the swimmers above you when using valet parking through large portholes in ceiling of the WHEELS garage. But for the full effect wait until around Oct 1. The pool barely had water added by Sept 5th and the Living Room area barely got finished. The W Store isn't even done. Sushi Roku is small and it is best to make reservations or order from your room. I wouldn't stay here yet. Wait until Oct/Nov. Staff are still in training anyways! They just started 2-3 weeks ago! LOL Has a Japan/Wild West Desert fusion theme by the way for this hotel! People will still prolly hangout @ the Mondrian anyways down the street @ Asia de Cuba and Skybar!

Unbelievable Hotel

What a beautiful Scottsdale Hotel!!!! I was pampered to a romantic weekend away from the kids and enjoyed every second of it. This is definitely not a Scottsdale Discount Hotel so go ahead and splurge. You will be glad that you did!
