Leading Hotels Offering Killer Room Rates at $19.28 a Night

In our iffy economy, it's expected that hotel rates would drop a bit but this new promotion from the Leading Hotels of the World is--in the voice of Crazy Eddie--insane!!!!

On October 1, nearly 100 of the hotels group will release a limited number of rooms at the unbelievable rate of $19.28 per night. Yes, you read right. $19.28.

Why that low? Well, that's a nod to the group's founding year--1928. Here's the official word:

For 80 minutes, starting at 8 a.m. Eastern on October 1, consumers will be able to secure the celebratory $19.28 rate via our site - www.lhw.com/1928

The rates are good for travel over Nov. 1 - Dec. 15. Some of the hotels that will be participating include Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, L'Andana in Tuscany (Alain Ducasse's Italian hideaway), The Gleneagles in Scotland, The Dolder Grand in Zurich and Marquis Los Cabos in Mexico. Just remember, you only have 80 minutes to do it.
