Hotel Loyalty Program News :: Marriott Introduces New Golfer Rewards

September 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM | by travelingmcmahans | 0 Comments

Meet Marriott Golf Links. This new golfer loyalty program just unveiled by Marriott lets Marriott Rewards members earn and redeem points for ... golf! Members can rack up 10 Marriott Rewards points for every dollar spent on rounds of golf and golf retail merchandise purchases.

In the spirit of earn and burn, as soon as you've tallied your points you can redeem them for, what else? More rounds of golf, plus hotel accommodations, spa experiences, golf instruction, and more.

What's great for die-hard golfers who don't happen to be road warriors is that the new program does not require a hotel stay. It's offered at 20 Marriott managed golf clubs around the world, including the sumptuous Camelback Inn, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale and the decadent St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino.

Oddly, the Special Offers listed don't tell us the price. Rule 1 of the Web, Marriott. Don't make us think. Rather than say: Go to www.camelbackinn.com and click on Specials and Packages (promotional code GOF), how's about if you just tell us the special. We're too busy daydreaming about all the points we're going to earn to do that much work.
