The Westin Paris To Unveil New Look Just in Time For Fashion Week

It's purely a coincidence that we happen to visit Paris during Fashion Week, and even more of a coincidence that we noticed the Westin Hotel was gearing up to host several shows and to show off its own new style.

The hotel is located along Rue de Rivoli, which is also next to the Jardin des Tuileries and Le Carrousel de Louvre, where several major fashion shows are going down.

Aside from hosting a few fashion shows (Balmain over the weekend), The Westin itself is gearing up to unveil its own brand new look tomorrow. We're not really sure what this "new look" entails, but we'll report back to you with what we find.

However, so far the guestrooms at this Westin just might be the most stylish yet, but it's still got a bit of that homogenized Westin feel. Hey, some people like that when they are traveling. Just not us.

The hotel is also close to Angelina, the famed chocolate shop on Rue de Rivoli, which is surprisingly a fave amongst models and designers during the shows. The restaurant is even offering a special Fashion Week menu.

If you're not in Paris for Fashion Week but still want to stay at the Westin, it's not a bad spot. We don't particularly like the Rue de Rivoli which seems like miles and miles of touristy shops (berets anyone?), but the location is central to the Louvre and the more upscale shopping along Ste Honore. And Metro stations are nearby.

Room rates start at 279 Euros a night.
