Look, we were all about Dallas hotels this summer. And we understand why maybe some of you weren't really into being in the red-hot Texas heat in the dead of July. So now that it's less scorching-hot down South, we'd definitely recommend a visit to Dallas during this time of year when the air is crisp and cool -- but not too cool.

The Belmont Dallas was a motor inn in 1946 -- and after some sprucin' up, the hotel has turned into a killer contemporary hotel with a funky retro vibe. Bonus: its bar was named the "Most Cinematic Hotel Bar" in the DFW area -- but we're pretty sure you're may want to lay off the booze long enough to take in the gorgeous views of the Dallas skyline. Right now, Tablet Hotels is offering room rates that start as low as $109, valid through December 31st.
