Andaz West Hollywood Renderings Reveal a Hotel of the Future

In case you missed it the other day, we told you that the Riot Hyatt on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood would be turning into one of those funky Andaz by Hyatt brands come December.

And today we have some very basic renderings of what the new incarnation of the 80s rockers' old playground will look like. Hmm...it looks very futuristic. But it's definitely an improvement from the skanky Riot Hyatt. Then again, maybe that was the fun of the hotel?

UPDATE: We just got word from an Andaz rep that these are not the current renderings for the Andaz West Hollywood, but rather are "representatives of the Andaz style" -- not one particular location.

    Hey babe...

    Ooooh, this makes me tingle. Look at the sexy shadow people! I can't say I quite understand what's going on in the bar rendering, though. Is he sitting on the side? On a stool? More importantly, is he hot close up?
