We weren't sure that things could get much more tumultuous for Hotel Chelsea in Manhattan -- whose management takeover has been an all-out, nonstop dramafest since the new folks in charge have butted heads with longtime residents of the storied Bohemian outpost -- but, alas, they have.

An irate guest of the hotel submitted an uncensored, unedited threatening-ish letter to our friends over at the Hotel Chelsea Blog reporting a hotel experience that was, uh, less than stellar.

See you in court soon. I stayed at your hotel on saturday april,26,2008. There was no manager there my room was infested with bed bugs, which i was bit in the face. I paid 300.00 for the nigth and had to leave and go down the block to another hotel. at 2:30 in the morning.Your employee gave me a letter head from your hotel stating that the manager would put my money back on, BECAUSE I HAD TO PAY THE OTHER HOTEL 250.00 AND THAT WAS A DISCOUNT,BECAUSE THEY FELT SORRY FOR US WHAT HAD HAPPENED. Iam making a big deal out of this just because you arent honest. By the way the news will know about this too.

PS: thank god for cell phones I will bring my pictures with me to court.

Yes, lady. Take it to court -- but don't take the writers of the Living With Legends blog to court! They had nothing to do with your bedbug friends -- in fact, they'll probably buy you a drink if you sue the management.

But then again, maybe the Chelsea's new Director of Operations -- who once won a very prestigious award for his exceptional commitment to cleanliness -- has already taken care of the bedbug issue. And it's also quite possible that the letter-writing lady is a nutter. Or that she stayed in the room pictured above and got confused as to whether the bugs painted on the wall were real or fake.
