Actually, we're cringing just thinking of all those wonky types making bad political jokes while noshing on the "upscale classic American cuisine and libations" at the restaurant. (Seriously, this is D.C. People will make bad political jokes.)
Article One is part of the swank hotel's $7 million makeover, all due to be completed this month, and diners will roost from the Hyatt Regency's newly remodeled open-air atrium.
Executive Chef Michael Barber's lunch and dinner menus will feature more political-themed goodies like Senate Bean and Smoked Ham Soup (there's a joke in there somewhere), plus discounts for Hill staffers on food and drinks--excluding booze.
Sorry guys, but we're pretty sure you have laws to be tending to anyways.
