Not only are we committed to giving you the full video room tour from inside the Jane Hotel, we're also committed to staying on top of the hotel's slow unveiling of its public spaces, many of which are still under construction and which will be revealed piece by piece over the next few months.

So while we wait for the bigger rooms with private baths, bars and the in-door swimming pool, we present you with this welcome letter from the Jane Hotel management which is found in the rooms.

Essentially, it tells guests that the rest of the hotel is not ready but will be soon and that they appreciate "your patience as we slowly give birth to the Jane." The Front Desk is available by dialing zero and if you want food you can go to Nonno Gourmet which is a 24-hour upscale deli. It also delivers so it's kind of like room service.

We just hope the renovations at The Jane don't take as long as Six Columbus as NYC could really use the wallet-friendly hotel rooms.

    What you really get...

    Well if you care to pay 99 bucks plus tax to hear banging and drilling all day long this is the place for you.  Illegal aliensd doing construction fill the hallways from 8AM to 5Pm and often the exits are blocked by their ladders.  The hot water is spotty at best and if your lucky hot water is available.  Otherwise it's cold showers.  Therooms were measured by a tenant and they are approximately 35 square feet.  Everything is covered with dust and the porters are constantly spraying the rug with something that smells like a cross between carpet fresh and lysol.

    here is the truth

    This comment represents and speaks for all the tenants of "the jane hotel" formally known as the " hotel riverview". Only a small percent of us are left after a year of major harassment consisting of construction,bed bugs,rats and mice. sean macphearson and eric goode do not have any regards for humane rights and that is a fact. We have had to live with that fact,but not for long
