Perhaps we've been watching too much Gossip Girl lately, but we were all sorts of tickled (no, not like that) to hear about Josh Hartnett's scandalous on-camera performance the other day at his hotel.

Apparently, while in London to prep for his role in the West End stage adaptation of Rainman, Joshie and a ladyfriend popped into the library of the Soho Hotel for a little sexytime.

According to a source in the Daily Mirror, the whole scene was caught on the hotel's security cams -- and the security room was a bit awkward that evening:

No one quite knew where to look and there was a very awkward silence. Josh didn't seem bothered that the library wasn't locked and anyone could just burst in. He just kind of went for it.

Sounds like our kind of guy, though. Allegedly, hotel security just kind of gave him a bit of a quiet "take your business elsewhere" and Mr. Hartnett was cool about it.

Don't worry about the slipup, Joshie. You're nobody until you're talked about...or caught naked on a hotel security cam.
