CityCenter's Aria Resort Reveals Hefty Roster of Celeb Chefs

While CityCenter is still in the midst of construction, the mega-complex's Aria Resort (which just topped off the other day) has announced its hotel restaurant line-up and it's pretty impressive.

Sirio Maccioni, Michael Mina, Julian Serrano, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, The Light Group and Jean-Philippe Maury, who run acclaimed eateries at Bellagio, The Mirage, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay, will be joined by Masayoshi Takayama, the world-renowned chef of the famed Masa in New York City and Shawn McClain, celebrated executive chef and partner at three of Chicago's top restaurants.

Probably what has us most excited is the JP Pâtisserie from Maury, the man who created the chocolate fountain inside the Bellagio. His Pâtisserie will have "ample seating" meaning guests can just sit down and order desserts. Heaven!

Eateries at ARIA also will include Blossom, a classic Chinese restaurant; Lemongrass, a modern Thai restaurant; Café Centro serving three meals each day; and The Buffet which promises to be a "contemporary take on the standard" but we think long lines will still apply here.

Unfortunately, don't let your mouth start watering yet. The hotel won't open until sometime in late 2009. Sad.
