When he's not out stumping for the presidency, Republican candidate John McCain and his wife Cindy have a favorite retreat that takes them out of the desert of Arizona. And it sure helps that Cindy's got enough money to pay for it.

The conservative duo like to get their togetherness on at the ritzy Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. On Jan. 20 of this year, the two camped out for a night in the Cormorant Suite, one of 30 on the private island resort (accessible only by boat or seaplane). But this wasn't their first visit.

The couple has love-nested two previous times at resort where President Harry Truman once stayed (wishful foreshadowing on McCain's part?)

Regardless, we don't blame the McCain's for wanting to go back again and again. The tropical escape gets our vote for being authentically boutique with butterfly netting draped over king-size beds, a distinct lack of alarm clocks and televisions, and its own PADI dive center, spa and marina.

We're also fully in support of the romantic turndown options. Who wouldn't be when there are strawberries, whipped cream and "sensual" massage oils involved?

We also can't help but mention that Little Palm is offering a $39 rate on Oct. 29th to encourage the wired to go wireless for a night. The catch is that there's a three-night minimum stay requirement and the other two nights are priced regularly at about $750 each.

However, since John and Cindy are pretty tight with one of hotel's principal owners, Joe Roth, we're guessing he probably cut them a deal.
