Don't you think a day like this spectacularly scary historic Monday may just be the perfect opportunity to ditch your old life, sell that house in the Hamptons, buy a Harley and ride it to Milwaukee? Imagine feeling the wind blowing through your combover and all. Ah, sounds lovely, no?

The good news on this day overflowing with bad news: The Iron Horse Hotel is now officially open.

If you'll recall, the Iron Horse is a masculine-chic motorcycle themed hotel in Milwaukee, situated in close proximity to the Harley Davidson Museum (and, hopefully, far from your personal or career woes).

We called the hotel and asked about rates since their online reservation system is still acting up, and a staffer told us rates for tonight and tomorrow night were "around $222."

Hope on your Harley and get on out there. We'll be waiting for you, making jokes about "vroom vroom rooms" or something similar. Hey, someone's gotta lighten the mood today...
