Hotel Stalking Tour of Manhattan :: Jessica Simpson Edition

Gotta love the ol' Gawker Stalker. Not only do we always stay abreast of where Gossip Girl is filming, but we get to see where our favorite (or least favorite, as the case may be) celebs are spotted -- and, many a time, stalky Gawker readers catch the celebs going in and out of hotels and we are able to deduce their fave places to spend the night while they're in the big city.

First up on our Hotel Stalking Tour of Manhattan (as tracked by the excellent Gawker Stalker)? None other than pop-diva-turned-country-star Jessica Simpson.

J-Simp is here in NYC for a variety of reasons (we assume), one of which happened to be a semi-disastrous Good Morning America performance in which she came dangerously close to re-enacting his lil sister's lipsync career-threatening flub from SNL a few years back.

Yesterday morning, she was spotted going into the Gramercy Park Hotel. No surprise there -- since she was seen "looking sad and lonely" on Tuesday at the Rose Bar.

On a visit last year, she was seen going into the Inn on Irving Place with a bunch 'o bags. Jeez, she is kinda boring isn't she?

In 2006, she favored the Soho Grand. She also favored the roller skating hottie look in that awful video for "A Public Affair." Oy.
