If you're still scoping out places to stay in Beijing for the Olympics, consider booking one of the 1,312 rooms at the massive, just-opened Marriott Beijing City Wall for a sweet opening rate of around $131 USD.

The hotel also joins the ranks of brand-spanking-new "mainstream" hotels that have opened as of late (or even received a refurbishment) in Beijing--just in time for the Olympics. We've mapped out a few of them for you here.

Keep reading, there's more!

One of the coolest things about the place is the architecture -- ehotelier explains it for us:

A major architectural highlight of the hotel is that it is built on the renowned Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics Park. The Ming City Wall was built in 1419 and extended for about 40 kilometers. Today, it runs about 1.5 kilometers and once was part of the inner city way of the old Beijing city. In 2002, the Beijing Municipal Government turned the relics into a public park.

Look at that! You can take in some history and do some sightseeing while you're scoping out the veritable buffet spread of hot athletes roaming around the city.

And if we're counting correctly, the place has two bars and a whopping five restaurants (one with western food, one with "city street food", one Italian, one Cantonese and one deli) -- half of them are open, and the other half are slated to be up and running by Mid-August.

Oh, and you can keep yourself busy in the heated indoor pool to burn off all those calories and look as hot as your new athlete friends.
