If you're heading to Seattle this fall and looking for a cool place to stay, then consider the Inn at the Market, a small boutique hotel located right at Pike's Place Market. The Inn at the Market was the only Seattle hotel on T+L's Top 100 World's Best Hotels 2008 list and we can see why.

From fantastic views from nearly anywhere in the hotel--city skylines, gardens, waterfront, Pike's Place, and on and on--to the intimacy of a home base with only 70 guests rooms we suddenly can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Perks (included in the price!) of this urban palace include:
· Downtown town car service
· Turndown service with chocolates!
· Seattle's Best Coffee
· High-speed wireless
· Tempur-Pedic beds
· floor-to-ceiling bay windows in all rooms
· fifth floor garden terrace overlooking Puget Sound

There's also access to a nearby gym, an in-room massage therapist, and three (count 'em) restaurants inside.

And it's not even that expensive! We found Standard City View rooms starting at $200. But if we stay here, we'd probably bump it up and book the two-story Water Townhouse Suite which starts at $395 a night.

Have you stayed at the Inn at the Market hotel? Let us know what you thought.

Loooove the Inn at the Market!

The dilemma of working or attending a lot of events is that they are usually held in hotels, some of which are just oh-so-super-suave.  So, I've been to the Inn at the Market but, alas, have yet to rest my head on their ergonomically supportive Tempur-Pedic beds.

I've wanted to stay at the Inn for years now, but as a western Washington resident it takes some cajoling to get the hubster to not just make the drive home at night.  I'll get him yet, though.

Quick note - it's Pike Place Market (as in nearby Pike St.), not Pike's Place.  Thanks!
