In continuing our running tab on hotel carpets (yes, we are that geeky here), we present you with this photo taken at the Sofitel LA by Air Christophe. And we're thinking maybe this carpet is not so fugly? What do you think? Let us know in comments below.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and have actually noticed that the carpet is substantially better than most other hotel carpets.  But that is consistent with this hotel, better than most others.  This hotel is great, very trendy, yet sophisticated, great food, great service.  Not to sound like "that guy", but almost every time I stay there, I see some sort of celebrity.

For those of you who haven't, try to the Sofitel Water Tower in Chicago as well.  An even better hotel.

You're right on that - the Sofitel Water Tower is hotness, a fact only confirmed by the daily unloading of AirFrance crew at their doorstep.

It beats the fugly carpet lining the halls of my condo!  And I totally agree on Sofitel Water Tower - one of my favorites in the US.  Beautiful property.

i always hear the best things abt the sofitel water tower. i gotta go there! also, i think the sofitel la (sofitella) is so beautiful--inside and out. probably one of my fave hotel designs here in LA. it's just so cooooool.
