It feels a little pricey at $1,198 per person (based on double occupancy), but boasts a total all-inclusive affair with two night's stay, meals, rentals, and a van to give you a lift when that last mile is just too steep.
We're a little worried about the Inn: for that price we'd want to kick back at somewhere a little nicer than the Geyserville which has some pretty negative reviews on TripAdvisor and is categorized as a budget inn. (For $400 more you can choose the "Premiere Inn" package and stay at the Madrona Manor in Healdsburg.)
We'd recommend booking at extra night at the Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco where a Backroads shuttle drops you off at the end of your adventure to really relax. (Of if you want to pony up $400, you can do the premiere version which puts you at the Madrona Manor.)
The weekend biking tour is the first of several new trips offered by Backroads which normally has week-long excursions.
