Yo, dude: remember the Hacky Sack? Best known (to some generations, at least) as the trademark accessory and sport of choice by 90's high-schoolers who stuck to steady diets of organic popcorn and weed, the Hacky Sack is -- it seems -- poised to make a comeback.

Yeah, we find this curiously random, too, but: Kimpton is bringing the Hacky back. In Dallas, Texas, no less.

Now, perhaps we're either too old or too young or simply too out of touch, but we were under the impression that footbags went to the same dead-fad purgatory as Pogs and the Furby, but The Hotel Palomar in Dallas is making sure everyone's hackying skills are up to snuff by offering 50% off your room rate for every night of your stay for guests who can demonstrate hacky sack proficiency upon check in. Your task:

Upon arrival, you will be asked to Hacky Sack for exactly one minute, and you're even allowed one practice round.
