Hilton's Cuisinart Coffee Maker is Kinda Da Bomb

Sometimes it's the little things that make us happy and as java drinkers, an in-room coffee maker can sometimes be a deal-breaker for us. If a hotel room doesn't have a coffee maker, then we're forced to go downstairs or go out of the hotel. If they have it in-room and it doesn't work or if it works, but makes motor oil coffee, that's just as bad

So we were excited to find the Cuisinart dual-cup, single-brew coffee maker and Lavazza coffee in our room at the Hilton Quebec in January.

Maybe it was the steamy Italian coffee countering the snowy weather or perhaps it was the pristine white ceramic mug with `Lavazza' emblazoned across it that made our coffee seem all the more flavorful.

The experience was no different a few weeks later when we stayed at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport and discovered the renovations done on the rooms still couldn't hide the fact that the bathroom was in dire need of a makeover.

But there, on the vanity outside the bathroom was that Cuisinart dual-cup, single-brew coffee maker ready to comfort us with a fresh cuppa' hot Italian brew--and a chance to ponder Hilton's brand standards.

The Cuisinart coffee maker is actually found in most Hilton hotels in the U.S., and has been since 2006, as it's part of the Hilton Serenity Collection which you can buy for your own home. It includes fancy schmancy amenities like alarm clocks, pillows, LaSource toiletries, doggie beds and that amazing coffee maker, which will only set you back about 50 beans. Dollars, that is. Not coffee beans.
