Good old Gawker is still "not afraid to be service-y" (or they had a slow news weekend, maybe?) and demonstrated an admirable commitment to the people of NYC by printing an email from a likely-drunk, totally irate chick who was D-nied entrance to the bar at the Hudson Hotel -- despite being a whole three years above the legal drinking age.

Gasp! Outrageous! The reason she felt the need to cry foul to Gawker? In her drunken missive, the injured party seems to have concluded that she was rejected because of her hair color. Apparently preferential treatment was given to blondies that night. Oh hells no: Blair Waldorf would have never let something like that fly.

But, like, who even cares? Isn't the Hudson Hotel bar scene totally over? Some Gawker commenters seem to think so.

The rejected brunette detailed the egregious breach of simple rules of human decency: basically, she was invited to a "private party" at the Hudson, was "+3 years over" legal age, but was denied entrance to the bar -- even though two jailbait blondes were admitted just fine. When she tried to make a stink about it, they threatened to cut up her ID -- or maybe they did cut up her ID? The email is sort of unclear -- which we understand, having been angry, drunk and inarticulate a time or two in our day.

But the Gawker commenters were all like, "who cares?" and had something to say about the Hudson bar scene:

·It's Midtown... who wants to be seen there anyway?

·Go back to Jersey, that place has been over for years

So there. Anyone been to the Hudson lately? Let us know if we should even bother checking it out ourselves. Cause, you know, some of us over here are blonde ("blonde," really) and just may be able to get in.

Soooo over.

The only scene at the Hudson Hotel revolves around sweaty dudes trying to pick up PYTs. She's lucky she missed out!
