Meanwhile, at the Grand Hyatt Denver, it sounds like the staffers could use a cocktail or five. The hotel is hosting the entire Colorado delegation, and they're just finishing up a $4 million renovation on the 26th floor.
According to CBS4, they're bringing in reinforcements to help staff the hotel over the course of the week, who are probably currently busy polishing 50,000 glasses and preparing to launder 70,000 pounds of linen the week is supposedly going to require. The Grand Hyatt is expecting at least 30,000 people to come and go throughout the week.
And lastly, the Hotel Monaco is prepping to host the group "Democrats for Life," who are conducting a public town hall meeting at the hotel scheduled for the 27th. The topic of the meeting is just a wee bit controversial, so proceed with caution. Perhaps the doggie dressed in a red, white and blue tux will help lighten the mood.
