The Eden Hotel is practical as well as pretty snazzy inside, as there are kitchenettes in every room and loads of different sized suites for families or couples or groups. So if you don't mind the roaring traffic that fills Restauradores square day and night, you'd do a lot worse than stay here.
The best bit about the hotel has to be the rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and poolside bar. As far as we know, that's unique in Lisbon, so you can feel properly exclusive as you lie back on the sun lounger gazing over the rooftops.
In summer you can also breakfast up there, which is a good thing as the breakfast room is reportedly tiny.
Rates are really reasonable for such a bang-central location and such a good 4-star hotel: 107-180 ($165-$278) per double per night, depending on whether you take a suite or an apartment.
