70 Park Avenue Still Into Babymoons

We kind of thought we'd been there, done that with the babymoon trend, but Kimpton's 70 Park Avenue either thinks otherwise or has slipped way behind the times.

Presumably there are still women the world over waiting to have babies who actually would be prepared to fork out a stack of money for their last hotel hurrah, and 70 Park Ave is waiting for them.

Their "Big Apple Babymoon" package is pretty high on pampering, with a special massage for the mother-to-be and breakfast in bed included. Then there's the odd babymoon concessions like a book called "Baby Laughs" and a late night room service delivery of ice cream sundaes and pickles. Presumably the dad-to-be is supposed to have the same odd cravings as the mom-to-be.

Pickles and all add up to a starting rate of $499 per night. Most of the moms-to-be that we know are busy saving up dollars for diapers and all that baby-related gear but if you know a richer one, steer them towards this babymoon. Assuming they love pickles and sundaes served together.
