We didn't know this but it's actually Elvis Week, an entire week devoted to all things Elvis Presley.

While the planned Elvis Hotel for Vegas is not open yet, there is another way you can combine your love of hotels, the King and truffles.

Whist at The Viceroy Santa Monica has created Elvis Truffles as part of the restaurant's new dessert menu which was unveiled this month. Here's what's inside a $12 truffle:

milk chocolate, toasted peanuts, nueske's bacon, caramelized bananas

OMG. Thank you Viceroy, thank you very much.

Elvis

I think Flag Luxury has something to do with this Elvis property(developers of Ritz South Beach and Jupiter and the St. Regis/Baccarat in Anguilla).  

Flag and CKX (who owns 85% of Elvis Presley Enterprises) each own half of FX Luxury Realty, a company thats gonna develop Elvis hotels.  CKX owns all the rights to Elvis' likeness through their ownership of EPE.  

So basically Flag builds the hotels and CKX provides the Elvisness.  They're talking about building a luxury Elvisy one in Vegas and then a chain of more mid-market Elvis stuff across the country.
