There's tons of hotel news flying around this week and we don't have time to give each and every story the love and attention it may deserve, so you will have to settle for some news briefs.

· We Heart Marriott's Twitter Account: And we actually mean that. Marriott folks are keeping us very up-to-date with what's going on. Just don't tell us Bill Marriott is doing the tweeting.

· Wyndham Now Kind To Allergy Sufferers: Wyndham is introducing allergy-free zones in their hotels by the end of next year. 1 out of 10 rooms will be safe for allergy-sufferers. Let's just hope they aren't near the pet-friendly rooms. [Budget Travel]

· Grape-a-licious: A Japanese hotel plunked down $910 for a batch of grapes. It's roughly $26 per grape. No clue on what they are using it for. [Seattle PI]

· Cyanide in Denver: Speaking of the DNC convention in Denver, a man died of cyanide poisioning at the Hotel Burnsley in downtown. Eeek. [AP]

· Minneapolis Readies for the W Hotel Opening: People in Minneapolis are still excited about the W Hotel which opens tomorrow. But the lights on the building will be lit up tonight at 9pm. [MyFox.com]
