As part of the hotel's end of summer specials, they are offering rooms over Labor Day at $119 a night. It's fully prepaid and non-refundable but still cheaper.
However, beware. This is one of the old-school Four Points that is, according to reviews, is very outdated although it is in the midst of a renovation. The other downside seems to be a strange layout and a location that's far away from the action of the Gaslamp Quarter.
If you're looking more for action than savings, consider the Keating Hotel in the Gaslamp which has rates on Quikbook for $221 a night over Labor Day. Personally, we'd pay more to be near the party scene but that's probably because we have a drinking problem. Heh.
