The Emperor's restaurant, Shi, serves up creative modern Chinese cuisine and is well-known for its vast selection of rice wine (which is stored underneath the restaurant and visible through glass in the floor).

The top-floor spa is a must-see as well -- and let's not even deal with the outdoor rooftop jacuzzi.

And while the official Olympic hotties will probably (hopefully) be laying off the booze during the Games, maybe you can hope to score with a never-made-it-past-the-trials athlete who had his or her Olympic dreams crushed this year (they can take comfort in your loving arms) at the hotel's nightspot:

Up on the roof, The Emperor's other bar, Yin, offers breathtaking view over the city as well as a large selection of specially-created cocktails and crêpes, all prepared with a Chinese touch. In addition to hosting fashion events and art exhibitions, Yin is also home to the Emperor's daily Raising of the Lanterns ceremony at sunset, marking the transformation of the roof terrace into a club and lounge under the stars.
