Have you ever admitted to yourself that the only conceivable way you can let go of your Blackberry, Treo or iPhone is when your hands are cold and dead? For us PDA addicts, those babies are glued to our palms from the first e-mail check in the morning all the way to the last drunk text at night. It's a problem, actually.

Fairmont is here to help: the Fairmont Electronic Rehab package will take your PDA away and there is nothing you can do about it except enjoy your vacation. And probably cry a little bit.

According to the Calgary Herald, the package has launched in several hotels up North this summer - among them, Canadian faves like Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Whistler - and is meant to help guests to truly relax and recharge (duh) without their gadgets.

Upon checking in, guests who have opted for the digital detox hand over their precious PDA to a hotel staffer. It gets locked up in a safe so the addict's hot little calloused fingers can't get to it (and neither can anyone else).

And then - our favorite part - the crackberry addict has to sign a waiver that promises he will not get online during his stay. Our advice: it's probably good to have your travel companion present for the signing of the pledge so they can provide support and encouragement.

To avoid the inevitable twittling of the thumbs due to lack of twittering (ha!), the package also includes a credit toward the spa or golf course and, at some hotels, cool stuff like zip-trekking, kayaking, and fishing. Like, stuff you can't do on the Internet.

Prices for the package start at $358 (Canadian). Come on. You can do it.
