Even though its fate as ridiculous celeb magnet is sealed, the idea behind the 5,000 square foot club is still an alternative to the ritzy-glitzy crap at all the other Vegas clubs. The Vegas Eye described the concept in a bit more detail:
The first anti-club of its kind, Wasted Space melds the high-end rock n' roll culture with fashion, art and design creating a one of a kind atmosphere and nightlife experience.
"I wanted a place where my friends and I could hang out and listen to some great rock music with a cool atmosphere...there were no options in Vegas, so I made my own," said Hart.
Wasted Space will feature the top rock artists weekly, in addition to the hottest DJ's in the country.
Okay but we have to ask: what is so anti-club about it? Cover charges and expensive drinks seems clubby to us, and a Pete Wentz-y vibe does not an anti-club make!
But, then again, it's Vegas -- and what's a night without cover charges and expensive drinks, right?
Wasted Space officially opens up on Friday with a VIP party featuring an acoustic set by the one and only Gavin Rossdale.
