Room With a Killer View: Framed Perfection at Mount Washington Resort
We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. There's only one thing better than a snow-covered mountain view out of a hotel room, and that's this killer view: a framed snow-covered mountain view out of a hotel room, and said hotel room is in the Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire.
However, a killer view is not always enough to please all hotel guests. While many people are very satisfied with a Mount Washington stay, a few of the recent guests have complained about construction work and noise. We're not quite sure if it's complete so check when you book, especially being careful to avoid the eastern side which is where a new conference center and spa are being built.
Construction work aside, Mount Washington Resort has a bunch of interesting packages so check something that's relevant for you--some include golf, adventure activities, hiking treks and skiing offers. An average price per room comes in at around $350.
