Even More NYC Waterfalls Packages :: Gild Hall

Where: 15 Gold Street [map], New York, NY, United States, 10038

All summer long, Manhattan hotels have been capitalizing on artist Olafur Eliasson's man-made waterfalls installed along Manhattan's East River -- and the hype doesn't seem to be slowing down.

If you're late to the party on this one, maybe a Thompson hotel would be your best bet (get it? Because Thompson hotels always open late? Ha!)

If you associate waterfalls with cabins (and not so much with concrete and taxicabs), perhaps you'd enjoy checking out the waterfalls and calling the cozy, cabin-y feel of Thompson Hotels' Gild Hall your temporary HQ.

With the Waterfalls Suite Package, booking a suite will score you two complimentary Circle Line Cruise tickets to check out the falls up close. The cruises leave from South Street Seaport, which is just blocks from Gild Hall's front door.

But don't get too excited - it's gonna cost you a pretty penny: the King Suite starts at $479 per month; the Thompson Suite starts at $749.

And hey -- remember that Todd English restaurant supposedly opening up at Gild Hall? It should be open in August, but we'll believe it when we see it. But then again, we said the same thing when we heard about the waterfalls in Manhattan. So maybe there's hope.
