The hotel will have two restaurants, Fire and Kitchen, which will be overseen by New Zealand Chef Michael Poutawa. There's also the WOOBAR where you can "woo, wink and wow your way across the room" and you can store your best vintages in the bar's bottle storage facilities.
The guestrooms are rather predictable W rooms and include such amenities as 42” LCD televisions,i-Pod docking stations and bathtub LCD screens and pay-for wired and wireless internet.
Rounding out the features of the hotel are an on-site W Hotels store and the first Bliss Spa in Asia.
As for location, we hardly think we should be disappointed if we stay here. The hotel is located in the West Kowloon commercial, entertainment, and cultural district and the hotel is adjacent to Elements shopping mall which includes luxury designer stores and high-end restaurants.
Room rates start at $384 a night (about 3,000 HKD), not including taxes. Reportedly, a few rooms are going to open just before the Summer Olympics begin, although the hotel's official opening is expected in September. Right now, the hotel's website says October 1 but as we learned with many Starwood hotels, those dates are not set in stone.
